It get's RANK in Uvalde!

ABOUT

The Cactus Jack PRCA Xtreme Bull Riding is a yearly Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Sanctioned event.  Each May,  the Cactus Jack Xtreme Bull Riding transforms the inside of the Uvalde County Fairplex Arena.  As the largest event organized by the Cactus Jack Foundation, the bull riding has gained attention from competitors all around the world.  Not only do the contestants compete for the championship buckle, but the large contestant payout counts towards their year end earnings.

Along with great cowboys, the rankest and highest marked bulls arrive as well.  The Cactus Jack Foundation ensures that the livestock is top notch, and of the highest quality.  Their care is at the utmost importance during their stay in Uvalde, Texas.

TOP COMPETITORS

Only the top bull riders in PRCA get the opportunity to compete at the Cactus Jack Xtreme Bull Riding.  Some of the world’s leading names have climbed into our bucking chutes.  Names like JB Mauney, Sage Kimzey, Stetson Wright, Ky Hamiliton, and Cody Teel

TOP RANCH SHOWDOWN

Held in conjunction with Cactus Jack Xtreme Bull Riding, the Top Ranch Showdown highlights the top ranches in the Uvalde, Texas Area.  Each ranch nominates a ranch bronc rider to ride for their brand.  The ranch bronc riders have to make the highest scores as they vie for the largest purse in ranch bronc riding.  The top rider will receive the buckle, and the ranch that sponsored him doesn’t walk away empty handed.  They too receive a buckle, but they also get the bragging rights of Uvalde!

SOMETHING FOR THE KIDS

During each performance, local youth get the opportunity to ride a sheep in our mutton busting competition.  Equipped with helmets, each kids holds on to their sheep to see who is the best around.

When they’re not competing like bull riders, they get to enjoy family fun entertainment with their families.
