Jacoby Ammons of Caddo, Oklahoma rides his way into the 2024 Cactus Jack Top Ranch Showdown by way of the Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse (JCSP) PRCA Rodeo.

During the 2023 JCSP PRCA Rodeo, United Pro Rodeo held a qualifying event for the new Cactus Jack Top Ranch Showdown.  The rider that held on for 8 seconds and accumulated the most points would receive an invite to Uvalde in May 2024.  Ammons was the top cowboy.

The Cactus Jack Top Ranch Showdown is the newest addition to the already popular Cactus Jack Xtreme Bull Riding held in Uvalde, Texas.  Area ranches had the opportunity to compete in the event by nominating or drawing a ranch bronc rider.  Top money, top stock, and rank cowboys gave it their all inside the Uvalde County Fairplex Arena in May 2023.

Jacoby is now stranger to the Ranch Bronc Riding game.  Besides being a real working cowboy, he has been one of the top athletes in Ranch Bronc Riding for several years.  Adding a big pay day from the Top Ranch Showdown is just one other accomplishment to add to his long list of rodeo wins.

Stay tuned for more details concerning the Top Ranch Showdown.  The 2024 event is already looking to pay more to riders, and include even more rank horses from United Pro Rodeo Company.
